		Welcome to the Department of Engineering Science

Engineering Science at the University of Auckland - Engineering Science is one of the five departments in the School of Engineering at the University of Auckland. We are responsible for two specialisations within the Bachelor of engineering degree BE (Engineering Science) and BE (Biomedical Engineering). In addition we teach mathematical modelling to all engineering students and operations research to science and commerce students.

The department carries out research in Biomedical Engineering, Fluid Dynamics, Operations Research, Signal Processing and Solid Mechanics. For information on Research and Postgraduate Study at the Department, please click here
